The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival (MFWF) is an annual event that attracts more than 250,000 people. With over 200 events on offer over the 10 days, the MFWF celebrates and promotes the produce, talent and lifestyle that is Melbourne. This year marks the 25th anniversary of bringing together and showcasing the best food and wine from top culinary regions of Victoria and Australia.
The House of Food & Wine is situated down Little Lonsdale, one of Melbourne's iconic laneways. Whether you're after a sit down dinner, wine tasting or a block party - this is the place to be. Plus the bar is open from midday every day!
The 'World's Longest Lunch' this year pays tribute to Australia's best-known Little Italy with a 600-metre-long table running down Lygon Street in Carlton. Seating 1,600 guests, the menu is designed by Italian celebrity chef Antonio Carluccio. Not located within Melbourne CBD? Don't worry - 'Longest Lunches' will be held across regional Victoria as well.
From Friday the 31st of March to Sunday the 2nd April, the Yarra Promenade will be transformed into a culinary playground. Offering the city's best food trucks, so whether you prefer sweet or savory, there will be plenty of options to satisfy all foodie cravings.
